Circle B Bar Reserve
Circle B Bar Reserve is an outstanding location for viewing herons, egrets, ospreys, and numerous other waterfowl in their natural habitat. The Reserve occupies the site of a former working cattle ranch of the same name, and was bought by Polk County to protect the floodplain of Lake Hancock and to restore the Banana Creek marsh system. It features more than 6 miles of hiking trails through a dike system along the lake and through the marshes. Circle B Bar Reserve is located near Lakeland, FL, and is an easy drive from Orlando or Tampa.
